Users may see intermittent 404 error messages when clicking on posts via an embedded Microapp on Sharepoint or similar intranet sites.
A Microapp embedded in Sharepoint will intermittently show a 404 error message if you click to view the content.
The cause of this is related to the authentication cookie - if you authenticate successfully but then that cookie becomes unavailable, this will result in the 404 error. If you have any policies set up across your browsers or security solutions that block or remove third party cookies, this is likely to cause the issue to occur.
Please ensure third parties cookies are always allowed when using Microapps. If a user is unable to view the content via the microapp, the temp workaround would be to visit the web experience to view the content.
Our engineering team is working on a wider set of improvements around Microapp authentication (which includes this issue), with work taking place over the coming sprints. A further update will be provided in due course.
