Customer Issue
We have found that users who attempt to register have a hard time because they can't scroll down to get to all the buttons needed, meaning we have to reduce their text size for them to even be able to register.
Environment
- Member Experience | Mobile
Issue Details
When a registering user signs into the mobile app and completes user verification, they are unable to scroll down on the form if there is no shareable and untargeted content in the feed. If part of the form is covered by the keyboard, this can make it difficult to register via the mobile app. Factors that can make this worse:
- Increased text size on mobile device for visual impairment/accessibility
- Higher number of user verification questions resulting in a longer form
Resolution
Several workarounds have the potential to mitigate this issue:
- Reduce text size on device until keyboard does not cover parts of form.
- Tap “return” on the keyboard to minimise the keyboard.
- Register via the web experience.
- Studio team create an untargeted and shareable “welcome post” to display in the feed for registering users.
