Firstup’s February 2023 release unlocks new levels of design customization and streamlined publishing that adds ease and stronger governance control to your platform, helps decentralize your communications across your teams, and more.
Publishing improvements across your new Creator Studio - Design, Deliver, and Review pages
We’re excited to continue our roll-out of Advanced Permissions this month - which will now include a bundled release of our brand new Design, Deliver, and Review pages in your Creator Studio. These updates bring a super streamlined campaign design experience, easier controls and guidelines on how you can best deliver your campaigns, and more details on your campaign reviews prior to sending your communications.
For more detailed information on how these updates improve your publishing experience for all of your publisher roles, please review our webinar content and training videos here.
The new publishing flow (Design, Deliver and Review updates) will be enabled when you upgrade to Advanced Permissions. We will be rolling out Advanced Permissions to our customers on 5 dates: February 9, February 23, March 9, March 23 and April 6. Your CSM will work with you to select the best date for you and your community.
These updates to the publishing workflow also include some parity functionality from Classic Studio to the new Studio such as the ability to create and send test push notifications, as well as the the ability to create separate subject lines for both email and push notifications for the same campaign.

Create beautiful on-brand content even faster with new custom blocks
An exciting new ability to create and save custom blocks makes it easier than ever for content creators to build on-brand campaigns by curating your own library of custom blocks. Custom blocks allow you to create your own library of content blocks with your customized styles, layouts, and assets. Saving these custom blocks to your library allows you and other publishers to quickly apply them to campaigns in the future.
Brand Super Admins and Community Admins will automatically have permissions to create custom blocks, but this specific toggle will also be available as a customization for any role to take advantage of.
Once you’ve created your custom block in Design, you’ll see a new hover option on the right-hand side of the block that allows you to save. Try it out today, and let us know what you think!
This feature is available with our Advanced Permissions!
