Known Issue: Email preview text defaults to first line of email (CSUP-2173)

Customer Issue

Campaigns delivered via email behave inconsistently with regard to email preview text.

Environment

Email (confirmed in Gmail, Outlook)

Issue Details

The Email Preview text is not being displayed when viewing an email, even if the preview text was customized within New Studio. Instead of showing the custom text the publisher put in the preview, the recipient is seeing the “View in web experience” text that is usually displayed at the top of emails sent from Firstup.

Resolution

This issue has now been resolved by Product Engineers, and moved to Complete on the Known Issues Tracker. (Issue ID: CSUP-2173)
