Test emails are not showing images and are instead displaying a red 'x'.
The image is blank after saving a custom block.

Issue Details
When sending a test email, images may not appear and instead are replaced by an empty box with a red 'x'
This usually only appears to be occurring for test emails and not the actual campaign itself.
The issue may persist permanently if the relevant content block is saved as a custom block. Using that custom block will persist the issue.
Resolution
As a workaround, after edits are completed, save the campaign (or wait until auto-saved), refresh the page, and proceed to send the preview. Please check the current status of this issue on the Known Issues Tracker. (Issue ID: CSUP-2374)

A comprehensive fix for this issue is currently undergoing final acceptance testing. A new interim solution has been published which will avoid the issue where images are either not displaying correctly, or showing an error instead:
"after edits are completed, save the campaign (or wait until auto-saved), refresh the page, and proceed to send the preview"
The final fix for this issue went out as planned yesterday evening Pacific Time and has confirmed to have fixed the underlying problem where images were intermittently not showing up in campaign preview emails.
