Customer Issue
Our Custom Role with access to ALL Topics and Audiences is unable to publish in New Studio
I am current user of New Studio and am unable to make edits to the posts I've created after they're scheduled or published. I get an error message that says "User Contributor must have permission to access to the content."
Environment
- Studio | Permissions
Issue Details
A Studio role with access to a topic in New Studio is unable to publish in New Studio if they are assigned the Topic Manager role in Classic Studio and the specific topics are not assigned.
Classic topic manager permissions are being applied in new Studio, regardless of role.
Resolution
As a workaround, update the user's role in Classic Studio to either:
- assign the relevant topics to the user in Classic Studio;
- update their Classic role to Program Manager or Administrator;
- demote them to a member in Classic Studio;
which will allow them to publish in New Studio.
