Known Issue: Advanced Permissions allow Publishers to create Smart Campaigns (CSUP-2272)

A "Publisher" user was able to publish a post through Classic studio via a Smart Campaign

Environment

  • Classic Studio | Publish

Issue Details

Users with a Classic role of Publisher can add smart campaigns via Classic Studio if they have an advanced permissions role and the 'contributor_connect_access_enabled' toggle is enabled.

Resolution

This issue has now been resolved by Product Engineers, and moved to Complete on the

Known Issues Tracker. (Issue ID: CSUP-2272)

    Through testing, it appears that this issue may no longer be reproducible. Publishers are not longer allowed to create "Smart Campaigns" from the Publish screen.
