One of our co-workers is not given automatic access or being auto followed to the topics relevant to them based on their attributes.

Despite being eligible for a targeted topic based on customer attributes, or topic being untargeted, some users do not automatically follow the topic when autofollow is enabled. The user is visible in the audience (for targeted topics), and yet must manually follow the topic to receive contained content in their latest feed.
Affected users may manually join a topic to ensure they see content in that topic and receive communications targeted to the topic's followers/subscribers.
