Customer Issue
After pasting an image in a Rich Text block from an external application, I am no longer able to open my Campaign draft within Creator Studio and it will continuously load.
Environment
- Creator Studio | Campaigns
Issue Details
Sometimes, after uploading an image from an external source to a Rich Text block, the Campaign will not load on refresh, showing an "entity too large" error within your browser's console.
Resolution
Please contact support to remove the troublesome image and allow the Campaign to load as expected.
There are two main causes of this issue and below are some ways to avoid it:
- Users are copying and pasting images from external sources, such as word processing programs like Microsoft Word. These images are Base64 images. Base64 encoded images are a way of representing binary data as text. As a result, this string of characters can be extremely long and quickly approach the text content size limit. Instead of copying and pasting the images, we suggest uploading the images directly into the content.
- Too many blocks have been added to the campaign. The number of blocks that can be added to a campaign is unlimited. However, the size of the text content is limited. We suggest being mindful of the number of blocks added to a campaign.
