When opening the People > Audience page, it can sometimes take a long time to load, or we see a timeout error.
Additionally, when viewing certain restricted users, the audience section remains blank for around 30 second before the audiences populate.

Issue Details
When a restricted user creates a basic audience, the audience is able to load quickly as it only has to check a small number of attributes against the creator's restrictions.
When a restricted user creates a large copy/paste audience, each individual email address or ID is treated as a single attribute, meaning the audience check takes longer as each email/ID needs to be individually checked against the creators restrictions. The more audiences of this nature that are created, the more strain it will start to put on the Audience page and anywhere else that the audience needs to load (such as a user's profile).
Resolution
Creating copy/paste audiences as a Brand Super Admin rather than a restricted user will prevent this occurring since Brand Super Admins have access to all users and the restriction checks are skipped when the audience loads.
Additionally, if the audience list for a restricted user appears blank, please allow around 30 seconds for the audiences to populate before making changes.

A fix for this issue is trending towards the 2024-11-12 release, in which we will greatly reduce load time for audiences by optimizing group query calculations. A further update will be provided in due course.
