Known Issue: Hidden description shows in article preview if you try and hide the description (PUB-1663)

The description continues to show on the post preview after ticking "hide description".

Issue Details

After ticking the “hide description” checkbox in Compose, the description continues to appear on the web/mobile preview for posts as well as in Content Amplifiers and Microapps.

Resolution

This resolution outlines our best-known workaround or resolution to this issue:

  1. Before hiding the description, type a space.
  2. Hide description.
  3. The description will appear blank.
