Customer Issue
Users in created and invited status are not auto-following Topics that are targeted at them. This can mean that there is sometimes a delay when a new user registers before they are presented with targeted content.

Issue Details
When a user is added to a group that is targeted by an auto-followed Topic, they should join that Topic even if they have not yet logged in to finish registering their account. This enables a seamless targetted experience from the moment they register their account. Otherwise, there is a delay between a user's first log in and seeing targeted content in their feeds.
Resolution
Users will automatically join auto-follow channels as soon as they log in and complete registration.
