The Firstup Customer Ideas Portal is a tool that allows Firstup to gather ideas and feedback from our customers and share with our Product team for future release consideration.

What is an Idea?
Ideas are product improvement suggestions from customers for new features or to enhance existing features:
A suggestion on ways to enhance existing features
A request for an entirely new feature
Integration request - An integration with a 3rd party
Note: An idea is different from a technical bug. A bug is when an existing feature is not working as expected.
How to Access the Firstup Customer Ideas Portal
Note: Only Brand Super Admins and users with the required custom role permissions can access the Firstup Customer Ideas Portal.
- Sign in to Creator Studio.
- Select Suggest an Idea from the help menu at the top right of Creator Studio.
- You will be redirected to the Firstup Customer Ideas Portal.
How to Submit or Vote For an Idea
Add new ideas, comment on existing ideas to share your use case, and vote for the ideas that you support across the Firstup product suite.
- Journey Automation: Send personalized employee experiences based on user journeys.
- Employee Experience (Web, Mobile, Microapps): Member experience interfaces, including the Firstup desktop experience, Firstup iOS and Android mobile applications, and microapp extensions into other applications.
- Email Experience: Create, target, and deliver personalized emails across your organization.
- Campaigns and Library: Design, build and manage content in Creator Studio; build custom re-usable templates, custom communications or selecting from preexisting template.
- Users, Permissions, and Audiences: Manage user access with role-based permissions and develop targeted audiences for personalized communications.
- Integrations: Unify employee communications in a single platform by seamlessly integrating various Enterprise systems, including HR, finance, HCM, collaboration and other tools.
- APIs: Extend the value of Firstup by building customized experiences using our comprehensive REST and SCIM APIs.
- Insights: Data, reporting, and insights to help make informed engagement and communication decisions.
- General: Any other idea that may not fall into the above categories
TIP: When submitting ideas, tell us about the real problem you’re experiencing—what your workflow looks like today and where you’re running into friction. Then share how your idea would improve your experience and help your team or organization be more effective.
Ideas Status Guide
Typically within a few weeks, the Firstup Product team will update the status of each idea to let you know where it stands in our product development cycle.

Definition |
| Needs Review | All new ideas will start in this status. The Firstup Product team will periodically review new Ideas to be added to the roadmap. |
| Awaiting Clarification | The Firstup Product team is looking for additional details to clarify the request. Check the Product Manager’s notes for more details. |
| On Roadmap | The Firstup Product team is actively working on defining a possible solution for this idea and are excited to begin work. Watch for communications and webinars from our team for further updates. |
| Future Consideration | This idea is currently not on the roadmap, but we actively review these ideas when updating our roadmap. |
| Not on Roadmap, but Gather Interest | This idea is currently not the roadmap and is not actively reviewed while we update the roadmap, but we would like to continue to understand interest from our customer base. |
| Released | We have completed development of this functionality and will be part of an upcoming new product release. Watch for communications about our upcoming releases! |
| No Plans to Build | We have determined that this idea falls outside the scope of our current development efforts and was not added to the future list. |
| Already Exists in Product | At the time that idea was filed, the function already existed in the product. Check the Product Manager’s notes for more details. |
