This article provides an overview of how to manage the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for your community. Please refer to Firstup's Platform Privacy Policy and Platform Terms of Use FAQ to learn more about the purpose and use of these legal policies.
- In Configure, navigate to Security > Legal.
- Click Edit.
- You have 3 options for your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Use Firstup's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as-is (enforced by default if you choose not to add your own)
Note: This option requires no action by you. You will still see "No Terms of Service" or "No Privacy Policy"; however, this refers to the absence of policies added via the options below.
- Link to URL (add a direct link to your own)
- Paste as Text (customize and publish your own)
Note: To add policy text, you must have an existing privacy contact. This contact can be added on the Legal page as well.
- Use Firstup's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as-is (enforced by default if you choose not to add your own)
- Click Save.
