Note: Only Brand Super Admins are able to manage Firstup AI Search.
Firstup AI Search Settings
Search and Assistant
The governance toggles in Creator Studio allow you to manage Firstup AI Search. You can choose to toggle OFF AI Search Summary and/or AI Assistant at any time. You can also limit which audiences can use these AI features.
AI Configuration
In this section, you can configure which tools and integrations Firstup AI Search can use. Firstup AI Search will not return results across disabled elements. This includes:
- Which tools Firstup AI Search can use - Search Content, Search People, Search Topics, Search Integrations, Execute Integrations, External Search Providers
- Which external search providers Firstup AI Search can access - Will vary depending on your contract
- Which integrations Firstup AI Search can execute - Will vary depending on your contract
- Response Personalization - Enable AI to use a user's profile information to enhance results
Default Settings
The following outlines the various governance default settings for Firstup AI Search.
When Provisioned by Firstup
These are the default settings applied when Firstup initially enables this integration at the platform level. You can then turn on the features that best suit your needs.
- AI Summary = OFF
- AI Assistant = OFF
- Users will not see any of the AI search features in web and mobile
Admin Managed
These are the defaults once you enable AI Summary and AI Assistant. You can then configure the options based on the available settings. Once saved the changes are applied across your community.
Scenario 1
- AI Summary = ON
- AI Assistant = ON
- Access Control Settings = Everyone can access
- Response Personalization = ON
- AI Tools
- Content = ON
- People = ON
- Topics = ON
- Integrations and Shortcuts = ON
- Productivity = ON
- External Repositories = ON
- Notifications = ON
- All community users will see both the summary and new Assistant in web and mobile.
Scenario 2
- AI Summary = ON
- AI Assistant = OFF
- Access Control Settings = Everyone can access
- Response Personalization = ON
- AI Tools
- Content = ON
- People = ON
- Topics = ON
- Integrations and Shortcuts = ON
- Productivity = ON
- External Repositories = ON
- Notifications = ON
- The user will only see the AI Summary in web and mobile. They will not see the “Continue with Assistant” button.
Scenario 3
- AI Summary = OFF
- AI Assistant = ON
- AI Tools
- Content = ON
- People = ON
- Topics = ON
- Integrations and Shortcuts = ON
- Productivity = ON
- External Repositories = ON
- Notifications= ON
- Access Control Settings = Everyone can access
- Users will only see the new Assistant (not the AI Summary) in web and mobile.
