The Dayforce integration provides users with Human Resources management software and services.
Users have instant access to Dayforce tasks or information directly from Firstup via their web or mobile experience. For example, users can access their payslips directly from the member experience screen without the need to access the Dayforce app.
User Access
There are two ways users can access the Dayforce integration directly from the web or mobile experience:
Shortcuts
Access our Dayforce side panel directly from Shortcuts at the top of the web or mobile experience. The app's title is configurable and may be named differently in your community.
Assistant
Access our Dayforce side panel from your member experience Assistant. Clicking the lightbulb icon in the bottom right corner opens your Assistant panel.
User Login & Session Length
Once this integration configuration is enabled, you can instantly access Dayforce. There is no session length, but note the data sync is every 24 hours.
Note: opening the external Dayforce application from Assistant may require a login.
Available Commands
Clicking the application opens the Dayforce side panel directly in the member experience, showing the available commands:
- My Payslips
- Time Off Balance
- View Time Off Requests
These integration commands can be enabled or disabled in your community, provided you have access to this feature.
They can be limited to a specific audience in your community. For example, only certain department or location members can access these commands. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager for details.
My Payslips
View your Dayforce payslips directly from your web or mobile experience. The default shows your most recent payslip. Use the dropdown to change the date range and view previous payslips within the selected date range.
Time Off Balance
View your time off balance directly from the web or mobile experience.
Time Off Requests
View your time off requests directly from the web or mobile experience.
The approved requests show the number of hours approved and the time off type.
Note: Time off types are dependent on your organization. Time off types are, for example, paid time off, annual leave, bereavement leave, etc.
