Release Focus
The upcoming September release introduces greater flexibility and control for managing Custom Homepages and user-generated content, while expanding SharePoint search capabilities with more precise sub-site scoping.
New Enhancements
Individual Custom Homepage Management
Individual Custom Homepage Management
Gives admins more control over page editing, publishing, and access while protecting live targeting and delivery.
- Decoupled Page Editing: Edit layouts without disrupting live delivery schedules.
- Targeted Publish Safeguards: Publishing permissions apply only to visual changes, so audience configurations can't be overwritten unintentionally.
- Safe Staging & Testing: Preview draft layouts before they go live.
- Page-Level Role Delegation: Grant Creator Studio users edit access to specific pages via user permissions, without full site access.
Granular Content Source Controls for Custom Homepage
Use more precise filters to control how content created by users with Creator Studio roles appears in modules.
- Four Filtering Options: Member User-Generated Content Only, All User-Generated Content, Creator Studio-Generated Content Only, and Creator Studio Role Content.
- Strict Role Differentiation: Automatically identifies posts from users with Creator Studio roles to apply the right filters.
- Backward Compatibility: Existing UGC modules default to UGC, including UGC created by users with Creator Studio roles, so published content stays visible.
- Future-Proof Design: Compatible with the upcoming Q4 UGC platform release.
SharePoint Search Sub Site Scoping
Gives admins more control over which SharePoint content appears in Integrated Search.
- Configurable Sub-Sites: Include one or more SharePoint sub-sites in Integrated Search.
- Focused Search Results: Limit results to content from configured sub-sites.
- Microsoft Permission Enforcement: Existing Microsoft permissions still apply, so users only see authorized content.
