If your company regulates webpage traffic using an allowlist/denylist (aka whitelist/blacklist), then the web experience itself or individual assets within the experience may fail to load/be unavailable/show as down. Failure to load the web experience will seriously hamper engagement for desktop-based users.
To assure that the web experience is available to your entire team, we recommend working with your internal technology team that handles network security to add Firstup to the allowed domains. As images and other assets may be loaded from a variety of subdomains and we are in the process of shifting from one parent domain to another, we ask that you allow all subdomains of our two parent domains:
*.socialchorus.com:443
*.onfirstup.com:443
*.firstup.io:443
*.onfirstup.eu:443 (for EU data center customers)
Troubleshooting
If anyone on your team see a blank page or blank assets in the web experience, and you suspect an allowlist issue, please do the following:
- Take a full screenshot of the page the affected user is viewing.
- Copy the URL from the address bar of the page in question.
- Take note of which domains (including wildcards and/or subdomains) are already added to your network’s allowlist.
- Then reach out to Firstup Support with your findings.
