Everything in this upcoming release supports the same goal: helping you turn communication into action across your whole workforce. In practice, that means more employees and managers contributing to the conversation within your governance rules, more of the actions your business depends on getting completed, and less of your employees' time lost to routine tasks and searching for information.
Here's what this release means for your organization.
Get the Actions that Matter Completed
Most communications teams can tell you who received a message, but very few can automatically follow up based on who acted on it. With new behavioral attributes in Audience Builder, you can target employees based on what they did with your communications, such as acknowledging a policy, clicking through to a benefits portal, or watching a training video. That power scales when you think about how your Journeys can branch on those same behaviors.
Note: This feature is available to Professional and Premier customers.
A Transformed Experience for Employee and Manager-Generated Content
We've rebuilt the user-generated content experience from the ground up, with a new interface and sleeker multimedia that make sharing feel as natural as posting from any modern app. Permissioned users can now share to topics and notify audiences directly, from both mobile and web.
This enhancement also adds the ability to @mention colleagues directly in the body of both user-generated content and Studio campaigns.
Note: This feature is available to all customers.
A Faster, Enhanced Workday Productivity Integration
We're strengthening our Workday productivity integration with a more native connection and new capabilities, which means real-time data, a faster launch, and a simpler IT review with no third-party middleware. Employees see current payslips and time-off balances and can request time off in seconds. And with these updates, managers can approve requests on the go.
Note: This feature is available to customers with Premier or the Employee Experience add-on.
Also in This Release
- Continued Search Enhancements: Firstup search gets even tighter with strengthened ranking that puts the most relevant and recent content first. Plus, building on the SharePoint site scoping we released earlier this year, admins can now also choose which Google Drive folders appear in results, with employee permissions fully respected. Employees find the best answers faster, and fewer questions land with Comms, HR, IT, and managers. Firstup search enhancements are available to all customers. Google Drive scoping is available with Google Drive Integrated Search.
- Refreshed Mobile Experience: The Firstup mobile experience now follows the latest Apple and Google design standards with Liquid Glass and Material 3 Expressive. We're also adding familiar swipe gestures for managing notifications, so it feels native to every employee's device. Available to all customers.
- QR Code Scans in Insights: See how many employees each campaign reached through printed QR codes, so you can show how print brings your frontline into the live campaign. Available to all customers.
- Cleaner Static List Uploads: Firstup now automatically excludes the header row, which means fewer errors and cleanup when building audiences from a spreadsheet. Available to all customers.
- Homepage Summary Page: Each Personalized Homepage now has a read-only summary page in Studio that shows its live status, when it was last updated, every module in the order employees see it, which audiences it reaches, and who can edit it, so admins can confirm what's live without opening the editor. Available to customers using Personalized Homepages (formerly known as Custom Homepages).
- Featured and Resources Permissions: Separate permissions for including content in Featured and in Resources let admins decide which Studio users can add campaigns to these curated spaces, so they stay focused and intentional. Available to all customers.
- Audience Ownership Transfer: Admins can now spot audiences with no owner and transfer ownership one at a time or in bulk, with every change tracked in the Activity Feed, so audiences stay accurate as people change roles. Available to all customers.
