Shortcuts
Direct link shortcuts can be searched for by direct link name by typing in the Assistant search field.
Brand Super Admin Note: To make direct links easily searchable from within Assistant, it is recommended to give your link the same name as the Shortcut during creation.
Link collections can be searched for and accessed from within Assistant.
- Clicking on a link collection Shortcut from the Shortcut tray opens the link collection in a link modal, and clicking on one of these links will take you directly to the linked content, not Assistant. However, you can search for link collection content (i.e., Instagram) in Assistant. Clicking on the returned link will take you directly to the content.
Command Integrations
Assistant can be used to search and execute command integrations. There are a few ways you can access command integrations in Assistant.
- Clicking on a command integration Shortcut (i.e., "What's New in Current") will first open the Shortcut in a link modal. Clicking on a command will then display the results in Assistant.
- You can also search command integrations from within Assistant by typing a query into the search box, such as 'Show top posts from the community' or 'Show new topics.' Results will load in Assistant or you will be directed to direct links.
Productivity Integrations
Assistant gives you a place to search for and execute productivity integration tasks. There are several ways to do this.
- Similar to command integration Shortcuts, clicking on a productivity integration Shortcut will first open the Shortcut in a link modal. Clicking on an integration task will then display the results in Assistant or require you to connect or log in.
- All productivity integrations are listed in Assistant. You can execute tasks by opening Assistant, selecting the integration, and then choosing a task to run. Clicking on an integration task will either display the results in Assistant or require you to connect or log in.
- Open Assistant and begin searching for a task. Make your selection. Again, clicking on an integration task will either display the results in Assistant or require you to connect or log in.
