Filters
- Date Range - The date range of video data. This filter restricts both which campaigns are available from the 'Content' filter and the engagement data that is displayed. This filter is applied to all data in this report.
- Content - This report is designed for single videos. To load the report properly, select a campaign with a video from this filter. This filter is applied to all data in this report. Only campaign data from the selected 'Date Range' filter will appear.
- View By - This filter is applied to the 'Usage by Segments' data. View campaign data by User Attributes, Time, Content Attributes, or User Attributes.
- Platform - This filter is applied to all data in this report. View all content data by platform, i.e., Android, Email, etc.
-
User Attributes - Filter video data by specific user attributes. Ex. Filtering by 'City' will return data only for users in that city.
Limitation Note: When filtering by User Attributes > Select All, each attribute value is pulled into the URL once the report is filtered. Due to URL limitations, filtering by attributes with a very large number of values may return a 414 error.
Report Map
Here is a map of how to read the Video Performance report. The ‘Date Range’ filter refers to the date of activity.
Watchers The number of unique users that watched the content in Firstup. This metric does not include watchers for any posts shared externally. Compare this total with the Avg % Watched metric. Are your users finding the content? |
Engagement % The percentage of users who watched the video and made an engaged reaction, e.g., a like, a comment, a share, etc. Find out how much your users engage with your content. |
Avg % Watched The average amount of the full video watched by users. Does this number indicate how long your videos could be? |
% Completed A percentage of users who watched the content until the end. Compare with the Avg % Watched to find out how long users stayed engaged with the video. Are your videos too long? |
Usage by Segment (Bar chart) The number of views broken down by the set View By filter. Compare who is watching your video by, for example, departments or roles. Get insight into who is consuming your content, where they're consuming it, or when. Is there a department that is not getting or viewing the content? Does your content have a higher engagement rate on a particular day of the week? Note: Views are not counted as unique. A user can record multiple views of the same content. |
Usage by Segment (Table) A table representation of the Usage by Segment graph. |
||
Video Metrics Details of the video selected from the Content filter. Low-level detail of the selected content video, breaking down the Engagement % metric. Find out how your users like to engage. |
Watch Details A list of users who watched content, and the content itself. This low-level detailed table can provide insights into metrics like heavy users, watch receipts, etc. |
||
Video Watch Segments Breakdown (Histogram) The number of viewers per second. Note: A watcher can be counted as more than one viewer. Get insight into how long users watch the content. Is there a particular time when views drop? Was there something about the content that disengaged users? |
