Use the Topics Overview report in Insights to get a detailed look at topic reach and engagement. This report can provide overall 'traffic' activities on each topic. For a greater deep dive, we recommend looking at the Campaign Performance or Campaign Delivery reports to see how many users were targeted and the performance of their content.

Filters
- Date Range - The date range of topic data. This filter is applied to all data in this report and restricts the displayed data.
- Topics - Filter the data by selected topics. This filter is applied to all data in this report.
- Published Date Range - The date range for when campaigns were published. This filter is applied to all data in this report.
- Initiatives - Filter the activity by initiatives. This filter is applied to all data in this report.
- Publisher - Filter campaign data by the user who created content. This filter is applied to all data in this report.
- Author Alias - Filter campaign data by the selected author alias from the campaign delivery. This filter is applied to all data in this report.

User Attributes - Filter topic data by specific user attributes. Ex. Filtering by 'City' will return data only for users in that city.
Limitation Note: When filtering by User Attributes > Select All, each attribute value is pulled into the URL once the report is filtered. Due to URL limitations, filtering by attributes with a very large number of values may return a 414 error.

Reached Users Unique users who saw at least one post within the Firstup platform. This metric does not include any externally shared posts. How many users are seeing and engaging with the topic content? Reached users is a good representation of your platform's active users. |
The number of posts with impressions in the date range selected Use the ‘Publish Date’ filter to limit this report to only posts published during a given period. Compare this number to the number for similar time frames. Are the numbers consistent? Could they be higher? |
Topics with Activity The number of topics that generated activity in the date range selected Compare this number with the total number of ‘Published Topics’ in the ‘Topic Breakdown’ table. Ideally, you want these numbers to be the same, or at least very close. |

Reached Users and Avg Clicks per reached user by topic Use the ‘Minimum Size’ filter to reduce the number of topics displayed here. For each topic, compare the number of reached Users for that topic (across all posts) to the average number of topic posts each reached user opened. Does this number align with what you would expect for this topic? How can you generate more opens? |
