Creating the Role
- Sign in to Creator Studio.
- Navigate to Configure > Administration > Roles.
- Click the + Role button.
- Name the custom role 'Unrestricted Content Publisher' and give it a description such as "Full content publishing access only".
- Under Permissions, enable the Campaigns & Calendar parent toggle.
- For our non-restricted content publisher example, enable the following sub-toggles:
- Notification Center
- Push Notifications
- Publish Campaigns
- Set as Critical
- Create Private Drafts
- Personalized Fields
- Save the role.
Your custom role will now be displayed on the roles page, and can be assigned to one or more users from the People page.
Studio Access
When Unrestricted Content Publishers sign in, they can access everything they need to create and publish campaigns without limitations, but with no access to any other Studio feature.
Users with the role have access to:
- Create and edit campaigns - from scratch or from your template library.
- View the campaign results summary.
- Schedule campaigns - select a publish date and time, view the schedule calendar, and edit campaign scheduling.
- Publish, archive, and unarchive campaigns - they can publish to any audience they have access to, any topics, and initiatives.
- Preview campaigns.
