Note: This article only applies to customers with access to the member experience and, therefore, does not apply to email-only customers.
For You is a special section in the mobile app and web experience for users of the new Studio where content will appear when a user is in the target audience but NOT the target topic for a campaign. For You was born out of the need to provide a 'container' within the mobile app and web experience where content can live outside of a topic. Communicators will no longer be required to create a topic in order for content to exist in a feed. This is especially beneficial for one-time communications.
Content will only appear in either the Latest, Featured, Trending feeds or For You - it will not appear in both places. For content to appear in For You, it must have an audience. However, if it has an audience AND a topic, the topic will win visibility because the content will have the ability to appear in either the Latest, Featured, or Trending feeds. But if a user is only in the audience, the content will only appear in For You.
Users who are in the target audience will also receive a campaign notification via email, Assistant or push, depending on the orchestration settings for the campaign.
Once content appears in For You, it exists like regular content. The post will only disappear if the campaign is archived, the assigned audience is removed, or a topic is added. Once a topic is added, the post will move to either the Latest, Featured, or Trending feed.
What Members See
For You is always available on the web through the stack icon. A feed will only appear on the homepage if there is at least one piece of content to populate the feed. If you have Custom Homepage, you can control the For You order just like the other feeds.
For You is a new tab in the mobile experience - scroll to the far right when looking at Latest, Featured, and Trending. In the mobile app, the tab will display even if there is no content.
