Customer Issue
Sometimes when we create an audience using wildcards in the query, the audience doesn't include the expected users.
Environment
- Creator Studio | People | Audiences
Issue Details
If an admin uses wildcards (the * symbol) when creating or editing an audience using the advanced query builder, then switches back to the basic query builder and saves the audience, "escape characters" will be saved with the wildcards (\*) which prevents the wildcards from resolving as expected.
Resolution
As a workaround, please avoid switching between basic and advanced query builder for existing audiences.
